Week 3: The Nemesis – If You Don’t Know Me by Now (Teddy Pendergrass cover/ Jay Reatard tribute)

Last Wednesday I was so shocked to hear about the death of Jay Reatard, I almost stopped working on Pi to 100 Digits to cover one of his songs. Later that night, I heard that Teddy Pendergrass passed away as well. In tribute to the two artists, I covered Pendergrass’s biggest hit, in a style as close to Jay Reatard as I could manage.

    thanks! this is the happiest i’ve been with one of my recordings in a while… almost a shame it’s a cover. haha.
